Prizemoney levels revised for second half of FY24 in response to wagering revenue decline

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has today announced changes to prizemoney levels for the first six months of the 2024 calendar year, revising the financial year’s projected total prizemoney returns to $70 million.

Greyhound Racing Victoria has formally warned off Alice Barrett of Toolern Vale, for a period of two (2) years, under Greyhounds Australasia Rule 165(a) following an investigation by the Greyhound Racing Integrity Unit (GRIU).

Schedule reduction from 1 January 2024

Effective 1 January 2024, GRV will reduce its weekly racing schedule by one meeting per week, bringing the total down to 24 weekly race meetings.
