The Transportation of Greyhounds Policy and Hot Weather Policy have recently undergone their annual review. Information on proposed changes to these policies, as well as other issues which have been raised during the review, are as follows. GRV’s video series on training tips with Robert Britton continues, this time focusing on the diet of a racing greyhound.
The past financial year has seen a lot of change and progress in many areas across Victorian greyhound racing. This change has encompassed everything from amended racing rules to significant increases in stake money and breeding sustainability, major infrastructure works and the consolidation and strengthening of GRV’s animal welfare and integrity capabilities.
As we approach the end of the financial year, I think it’s important to note that all of the Perna and Milne Report recommendations that were GRV’s responsibility are now implemented.
