Following the success of our first participant workshops, the Greyhound Injury and Illness Management workshops delivered by Dr. Chris Boemo, GRV is currently planning further workshops on an exciting range of topics. Participants have told us that greyhound nutrition and successful re-homing are important to them.
As a result, we are excited to announce that from April, a limited number of workshops on Maximising Re-homing Success will be delivered at a number of clubs by the GAP’s Senior Behaviourist, Diana Rayment. These practical workshops will provide a great opportunity for participants to better understand greyhound behaviour, and grow their skills and knowledge about maximising re-homing success.
GRV is also very pleased to announce, commencing in May, that Dr. Ray Ferguson, a renowned greyhound veterinarian will be delivering a new workshop series, ‘Nutrition for Success’ around the state. These workshops discuss optimal nutrition for greyhounds throughout their lifecycle; providing invaluable information on both the benefits of good nutrition, as well the impact of poor nutrition on growth, development, learning and racing success. Participants will walk away with information that they can apply to the greyhounds in their care.
