Working in the sport of greyhound racing means many unique challenges that don’t exist anywhere else. It’s a passionate job; on a good day extremely rewarding but on other days it can be a real challenge.

This is a sport that requires care and attention every day; and not just to the dogs. Your mental health and wellbeing are vital.

Greyhound Participant Support, or GPS, is now available to you.

GRV is providing this program free-of-charge for all participants – and their families – who wish to take advantage of psychological counselling services.

Confidential 24 hr support for all Greyhound registered Participants
and their immediate family members.

Converge International is the independent professional counselling service providing Greyhound Participant Support services to Victorian participants and their families.  Converge International have 1800 qualified clinical professionals available 24/7.

Whether you are dealing with everyday stress or more challenging issues like conflict, grief, sleep issues like insomnia, or anxiety, Converge International can provide support with targeted, practical support for the mental health and wellbeing struggles you may face.
