National Police Check audit

The National Police Check (NPC) Audit Submission period has now closed.

The GRV Board required every adult registered with GRV as at 1 October 2024 to provide GRV with a NPC by 1 December 2024. The NPC Audit was used as a point in time fit and proper person assessment.

GRV would like to thank all registered participants who complied promptly.

To contact GRV about the Audit or your NPC, please contact GRV Integrity and Welfare, via email to [email protected].

FAQs

What if I have not provided an NPC?

For those registered participants who have not provided an NPC (including those who are part of a syndicate), you registration has now been suspended.

All the restrictions applicable to suspension apply to you.  For example, you must not attend racing tracks, be at places where racing dogs are kept or trained (unless this is your usual residence), or undertake any activity that requires registration. It is your responsibility to understand the restrictions placed on you and you should refer to the Rules of Racing, including but not limited to LR 67, LR 68, LR 70, and GAR 178.

I want my suspension lifted, where can I get a NPC?

You must complete your NPC via the cobranded GRV and National Crime Check Applications Portal at National Crime Check. The cost of the check is $58.90.

I need help completing the NPC application

To protect the integrity of the NPC, GRV does not see any of the documentation you submit and cannot access the National Crime Check systems for any processing.  If you require assistance with your NPC, please contact National Crime Check at [email protected].

Will I need ID to get the NPC?

Yes, you will need to have ID with you to get a NPC. Here is a link to the ID requirements: https://www.nationalcrimecheck.com.au/faqs/identity-requirements-for-australian-police-checks

I need information from GRV

Enquiries in relation to the NPC Audit process, lifting suspensions, or requesting cancellation of your registration should be directed to GRV Integrity and Welfare, via email to [email protected].
