Reminder of Breeder Responsibilities: Pink Card / Breeding Female Registrations

September 29, 2016

From 1st February 2016, GRV greyhound racing participants have been required to register their female greyhounds for breeding prior to them being served.

GRV would like to remind participants of the mandatory requirements to have up to date C5 vaccinations and DNA results recorded for female greyhounds prior to them being eligible to be served.

For any female who is over 8 years of age or has previously whelped 3 or more litters, an exemption application, including the breeding health and fitness certificate, must be submitted and approved prior to any additional services.  Processing time for exemption applications may take up to 14 days therefore participants are advised to submit their application before their female is on season.

An approved exemption will be valid for 120 days from the date of issue of the breeding health and fitness certificate.
