GRV is seeking feedback on proposed Greyhounds Australasia (GA) national rules and Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) local rules. Proposed changes to national rules relate to the removal of ear brands as a method of greyhound identification, as well as breeding, prohibited substances and welfare rules changes. Proposed local rule changes relate to registration and eligibility requirements, greyhound properties, racing Integrity and misconduct offences.

Next Steps
Following the 3-week consultation period, GRV will review and collate the feedback received from all stakeholders and provide a summary and/or copies of submissions to GA and the GRV Board for consideration, and if necessary, or further amendment to the proposed rules.
If any of the proposed new or updated rules are progressed further by GA and the GRV Board for inclusion in the Rules, participants will be informed.
