Greyhound Racing Victoria would like to take time to acknowledge the sincere, supportive nature that the greyhound racing community has shown towards fellow participants and their families in recent times.
We certainly recognise and greatly appreciate the efforts of participants and local clubs, who have proactively stepped up during these times of need.
We are a family made up of clubs, trainers, owners, breeders, catchers, handlers, rearers, educators and adopters who, despite at times competing against one-an-other on the race track, continually demonstrate a commitment to take care of each other during difficult times.
This level of support and comradery has, and always will be, on display and this is what makes our sport and its people so great.
GRV wishes to acknowledge the greyhound racing community in supporting our sport’s people and their families through personal hardship in what has been a particularly tough recent period for greyhound racing in Victoria.
