Greyhound racing returns to Sale this Sunday
The Sale & District Greyhound Racing Club will host its first official race meeting this Sunday following a major redevelopment to its racetrack over the past eight months.
Changes to GAP bookings
From 1 October 2023, only greyhounds that are both desexed and no longer racing will be able to be placed onto the GAP pre-entry assessment (GAPPEA) waiting list.
GRV update: Bendigo abandonment
GRV advises that the race meeting at Bendigo on Friday 25 August has been abandoned due to infrastructure issues.

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has become the latest international regulatory body, and the first in the greyhound racing industry, to adopt mandatory use of the TurfTrax GoingStick at all its 13 tracks in south-eastern Australia.

Time slot changes aimed at maximizing opportunities
Commencing on 6 September, The Meadows’ Wednesday race meetings (MEP) will shift to the ‘Night’ time slot for a trial period until the end of March 2024.
